How Stock and Post Works

Stock and Post is a listing and communications platform. We help buyers and sellers find each other and understand the information associated with a listing. We are not a party to the sale.

For buyers

  1. Step 1

    Discover

Search by species, location, purpose, and the attributes that matter for your operation. Save listings and searches.

  2. Step 2

    Review

Read what the seller says about the animal, see which documents are on file, and check their status before you travel.

  3. Step 3

    Connect

Message the seller through Stock and Post, ask questions, and arrange a viewing or an independent inspection.

  4. Step 4

Complete the transaction directly with the seller

Terms, payment, paperwork and transportation are arranged between you and the seller.

For sellers

  1. Step 1

    Activate selling

Any member can turn on seller capabilities and build an individual or business/ranch profile.

  2. Step 2

    Create a listing

Choose the animal type and the form adapts to that species. Add photos, video, details and documentation.

  3. Step 3

    Attest and publish

Confirm you have authority to list the animal and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

  4. Step 4

    Manage inquiries

Respond to buyers, pause listings, mark them sold, and keep documentation current.

Stock and Post's role

Stock and Post is a listing and communications platform connecting independent buyers and sellers. It is not an auction house, livestock dealer or broker, escrow company, transportation company, veterinary provider, animal-health authority, or the seller of any listed animal. Transactions are completed directly between buyer and seller.

How to read this information

Information in a listing is supplied by the seller unless it is labeled as reviewed or verified by Stock and Post or an approved third party. Stock and Post does not independently confirm seller statements, animal condition, ownership, pedigree, or regulatory status.
